Forkhead box P1 (FOXP1) is a transcription factor normally expressed in many cellular processes and plays an important role in development, specifically in human leukocyte populations.1,2 Expression of FOXP1 can be found in neoplastic and non-neoplastic tissues.2 Overexpression of FOXP1 has been observed in a subset of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and thus FOXP1 immunohistochemistry has been shown to be helpful in the subclassification of DLBCL.2
