Currently, Cell Marque holds two patents: Cell Marque's US patent 6,649,368 provides for the simultaneous deparaffinization, rehydration and unmasking of a very broad range of epitopes, representing a major advance in immunohistochemical protocol standardization. The first embodiment of the patent that Cell Marque introduced was brand named Declere™, a reagent that simultaneously deparaffinizes, rehydrates and unmasks formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. This was followed by the introduction of an additional product, Trilogy™ that offers enhanced performance. Cell Marque's US Patent 6,489,171 provides an innovative means to dispense a sequence of chemicals into a headspace. As applied to automation of staining, the methods described permit substantial reduction in waste, substantial elimination of expensive field support and incorporation of desirable features currently not offered. Certifications Cell Marque meets and/or exceeds the standards for ISO 13485, an internationally recognized quality standard which states the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) for the design and manufacture of medical devices.
